One Day at a Time (ODAAT) Hosted a Friday Motivational Series with Speaker Latasha Wells, A Celebration of Women and the Power of Believing

Philadelphia, PA – One Day at a Time (ODAAT) was proud to host the Celebration of Women and the Power of Believing as part of its motivational bi-weekly series featuring a discussion by ODAAT Community Outreach Coordinator Latasha Wells and Case Management Specialist Decessca Davis. Approximately 100 audience members attended the event on Friday, March 22, 2024.

“To overcome adversity, you need to first believe in yourself. On the path to success, individuals need to truly understand that nothing is stopping them from reaching their goals,” said Latasha Wells.

Topics included the following:

●      Overcoming challenges while growing up.

●      Overcoming issues with immediate family.

●      Challenges affecting young adults.

●      The importance of seeing yourself overcoming any challenges as it relates to the eventual outcome.

Recovery is a much broader concept than just affecting those suffering from substance addiction. We continue to invite individuals who have a story to share that would benefit members of the community.
