We launched the Uptown Standard Monthly Newspaper in January 2020. We currently maintain a readership of 20,000 readers, distributed in over 100 locations throughout Uptown Philadelphia (Upper Northwest and Upper North Philadelphia). We feel that it is an essential function to provide a community as vibrant as Uptown Philadelphia with a local newspaper.

Our coverage focuses on State and Local Government, High School Sports, and Neighborhood News. Our distribution locations are located throughout our community Cedarbrook (19150) , West Oak Lane (19138), Fern Rock/Ogontz (19141), Mount Airy (19119) and Germantown (19144).

In 2021, we became members of WHYY- NICE and members of the PA News Media Association. And hosted our first Annual Uppity Awards, in which he honor; Non-Profits, Educators, change Makers, and Elected Officials.
