Our 2025 Theme:
“TURNING THE PAGE”
This year’s theme honors the transition these students are making — from one chapter of life to the next. It’s a moment of celebration, reflection, and hope for what lies ahead.
About the Scholarship:
Lovelace & Associates Service LLC will be awarding five deserving high school seniors with a $500 scholarship each. These funds are flexible and can be used for a range of personal or educational expenses, including books, meals, tuition, transportation, or even dorm essentials — anything that helps support their journey forward.
Meet the Founder: Saleema Lovelace
Saleema Lovelace is a dynamic and dedicated leader rooted in public service, youth advocacy, and community impact. She is the CEO of Lovelace & Associates Service LLC, established following her certification as a Public Notary and her impactful work across political campaigns and youth programs.
Saleema currently serves as a licensed funeral intern at Jackmon Funeral Home while pursuing her Funeral Director license at Mercer Community College. She’s a member of the Sigma Phi Sigma Funeral Service Club and the Quaker State Funeral Directors Association. In addition, she operates SRL Management Company, which provides affordable housing and resources to returning citizens.
A passionate advocate and connector, Saleema is a mother of three and a proud Philadelphian who consistently goes above and beyond for her community. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Correctional Support from the University of Phoenix and an Associate Degree in Human Services.
Inspiration Behind the Scholarship:
This scholarship was born from a personal journey. Saleema’s son, Kaleem Lovelace, entered the Individualized Education Program (IEP) in second grade. Rather than letting that label limit his future, Saleema turned to academic support and encouragement. Today, Kaleem is a college student with a 3.5 GPA, working as a Mental Health Specialist at Gemma Services, and developing his own business ventures. His resilience and growth became the spark that inspired the Lovelace Scholarship — proof that with the right support, any student can succeed.
Our Mission:
The Lovelace Scholarship aims to inspire students and their families to keep going, to define success on their own terms, and to know they are not alone. We believe in celebrating progress and planting seeds of encouragement along the way.
Together, we’re turning the page — and we hope you’ll be a part of it.
