West Catholic & La Salle Dominate 2025 PCL Indoor Track & Field Championships

The 2025 Philadelphia Catholic League (PCL) Indoor Track & Field Championships showcased dominant performances as West Catholic’s girls’ team secured the championship, while La Salle College continued its reign with a 10th consecutive boys’ title. The competition, held Sunday at Lehigh University, featured standout individual and team efforts.

Girls’ Championship – West Catholic Leads the Way

Sophomore Amarah Crabbe delivered a performance for the ages, winning four individual events to power West Catholic to the PCL Girls’ Indoor Championship. She took first place in: 60m dash: 7.76, 60m hurdles: 8.91, 200m: 26.11, and Long jump: 17-0.25

Crabbe’s efforts were complemented by Amiya Henderson, who won the 400m, finished second in the 200m, and placed third in the 60m. Alayna Maddrey secured a gold medal in the Triple Jump, along with a second-place finish in the Long Jump and a fourth-place finish in the 60m hurdles.

The West Catholic relay teams also made their mark, earning silver medals in the 4x200m (1:49.38) and 4x400m (4:31.30). Additional contributions from Sadiya Gibson, Nijai Scott, Milan Roane, and Tamara Williams helped secure West Catholic’s team victory.

Lansdale Catholic’s Jagoda Trybowska Named Field MVP


Freshman Jagoda Trybowska played a pivotal role in Lansdale Catholic’s runner-up finish, earning the Field Events MVP honor. She tied for 1st in the High Jump with teammate Kate Donathan, finished 5th in the Long Jump, and placed 4th in the Triple Jump.


Trybowska was joined by Ismah Lewis, who finished 4th in the 60m and led off Lansdale Catholic’s 4x400m relay with Lexi Megginson, Julianne Bieak, and Kate McManus. McManus also placed 3rd in the Mile and anchored the 4×800 relay.

Nazareth Academy & Little Flower Shine in Distance & Relays

Nazareth Academy saw Olivia Fabianski and Maeve Chambers take 1st and 2nd place in the 800m, while also leading Nazareth’s victories in the 4×800 and Distance Medley Relay.

Little Flower demonstrated strength in the relays, securing top-three finishes in all relay events, making a strong team impact.


Boys’ Championship – La Salle’s Decade of Dominance Continues

The La Salle College Explorers continued their PCL dynasty, capturing a 10th straight boys’ indoor track & field championship behind strong performances in both track and field events.

Bobby Franklin – 1st in 800m

Nolan Yeagle – 1st in Mile

Gavin Muller – 1st in Shot Put


With consistent performances across multiple events, La Salle once again proved why they are the team to beat in PCL track & field.
